and the oscar goes to
The World Architecture Festival, our field’s own celebration, held in Singapore last month, just wrapped up and we are very excited to be back home after three days full of insights from our colleagues around the world.
On the occasion, our directors Mariana Simas and Renata Furlanetto got to judge projects in two categories of awards and present four of our own: Sea Mirror Residences, Village House, Canopy House and Fasano Itaim.
Although we already miss the festivities, we are glad to be back home bringing the gold: Fasano Itaim was awarded with the Best Hotel Interiors and Village House was highly recommended by the judges.
the villa into village
Village house is out in the print media as magazine cover. This year’s Interior Design and Contract edition of The Plan magazine showcases this bold design.
The article, written by our dear Michael Webb, highlights the concept of the project. Organized around the fluidity of people’s movement, programmatic boxes cladded in stone shape a collective village under a common marquee. Inside the volumes, a warm surprise: the interiors filled with freijó and tactile fabrics welcomes one to relax in São Paulo countryside.

welcome to eldorado
Suzana Glogowski, our architecture director, recently flew to Colombia to join the Feria de Diseño en Medellín. On the occasion she spoke about Studio MK27 and the iconic projects she led, including Flag House, Studio SC, and Ourania Building.
She also took part in the launch event for The Architecture Of Studio MK27: Lights, Camera, Action, at Schaller HQ in Medellín. It was a great night to share our book with our peers.
a glimpse into the future
The team had the pleasure of diving into our dear Fernando Longhi's master’s thesis, where he shared his analysis on urban imaginary and artificial intelligence. His research explores the future of cities through AI-generated images, offering a glimpse into how technology could shape urban environments.
We also had Marcella Carone and Studio DoisDois talking about the experimentation with AIs on their exploration of architecture visualization. DoisDois has been applying an unique approach to their image creation process, both for architectural projects and the virtual installations they develop in parallel, which can be seen on @22.2.22.2.22.2.
see you in the next one!
